about us

Global’s Make Some Noise is our grant-giving charity that helps change young lives.

We unite our radio stations, our outdoor portfolio, our audiences and our friends from the music and entertainment industry to give a voice to small charities and raise money for vital equipment and services.

All the projects we fund support children, young people and their families living with illness, disability, or lack of opportunity.

our impact

Since its launch in 2014, Global’s Make Some Noise has raised more than £15 million for 224 incredible charities around the UK, helping more than 73,000 children and young people. We’re currently funding more than 100 roles, from clinical psychologists to youth workers, alongside numerous activity programmes and support groups.

We aim to build sustainability for small charities through our unique three-part promise – raising money, raising awareness and raising the bar. As well as providing grants and publicity, our staff deliver training in marketing, digital and media.

about us

We believe in investing in future generations wanting to work in media and creative industries, which is why we set up the Global Academy.

A school in London for 14-19 year olds, our unique Academy provides its students with the technical skills needed to succeed in broadcast and digital media.

Alongside GCSEs and A Levels, students learn how to use state of the art radio and TV studios, as well as completing workplace tasks like responding to a client brief.

Students also have the advantage of networking with our top industry connections who regularly visit the Academy for workshops and Q&As.
